By popular demand we have put together a refrigerator conversion kit for dispensing Draught Guinness! Be the envy of all your friends and never pay 4.00 a pint again!
We offer our Guinness kits without the mixed gas tank, which can be purchased separately. To dispense Draught Guinness you need to use an air tank with a gas mixture in it of 75% Nitrogen 25% CO2. It s all mixed together in one tank. We first suggest that you phone some of your local gas dealers and see who has the mixed gas for Guinness available. Ask them for their mixed gas tank specifications: size (cubic footage), rating (eg. 2015) and type of valve head used (Nitrogen or CO2). All gas dealers are different, some will fill a CO2 tank with the mixed gas, some will only fill a Nitrogen Tank. We recommend that you purchase a size and type common to your local supplier.
Our Guinness kit contains a Nitrogen Regulator to CO2 Tank Adapter. You may or may not need this piece but it s good to have just in case your gas dealer fills a CO2 tank for you instead of a nitrogen tank. That way you can still use you Nitrogen Regulator.
