The YIG and PLL board combine to give you a signal from just over 8.25 GHz to about 10.25 GHz with a level of around +13dBm. The PLL controller contains a 10MHz reference and allows the YIG output to be set in precise steps of 1MHz across the 8.25 to 10.25 GHz range.
