We got this from the spare parts crib at a closed plastic extrusion plant. The part number is 3852522614. Measuring length is just over 350 mm (13.7 inches). Resolution is 0.002 mm, Uncertainty Usub 95% = 0.002mm + 6 x 10^-7 x Length.
(I don't really now what that means.) It includes a certificate of accuracy dated 4/28/08. The connecting cable has a 9 pin D male on the end and is 1.6 M long. I DO NOT KNOW WHAT THE OUTPUT LOOKS LIKE! I'm guessing it's a 2 phase pulse stream not an absolute number. It is new in the original carton with a manual and 2 bags of mounting hardware.
