This is a brand new, in the box motor control drum switch. It has all solid copper contacts very well made in the USA!. It will work with a single phase 120/ 220 motor up to 2 HP or it will run a 3 phase motor up to 2 HP and run on 120 220, 460 or 480 volt
with the handle in the middle it is off, move one way and it stays in that position and runs as wired, switch to other position and it goes the other way. again, it is maintained on in whatever direction you select, and middle is off
It has a complete wiring options for the various options inside the cover. This is a direct replacement for lots of South Bend lathes, as well as most any other lathe with a motor that fits within the above specification range. It will also work on drill presses for stuff like power tapping
