The versatile, ergonomically-designed handheld combines advanced Telxon mobile computing technology with a patented, reversible, snap-on barcode scanner for comfortable left or right-handed operation.
The compact, lightweight model 600 is driven by a choice of Microsoft MS-DOS and TCOS (Telxon's TCAL Operating System). Features include a 64KB flash application EPROM, 128KB or 512KB of RAM, a 4-line by 16 character LCD and 35-key full alphanumeric keyboard.
Data communications is enabled through a built-in 25-pin RS-232 port which also serves as the interface to portable printers and other peripheral devices. From a cost / performance standpoint, the PTC-600 is ideal for mobile applications including sales order entry, inventory and asset management, package tracking and more.
