Hoppmann's economical solution primarily used to feed lightweight plastic or metal parts in a variety of shapes and sizes with a delivery rate varying from moderate to high.
Hoppmann's standard FR-30 feeds and orients a wide variety of parts utilizing a stationary loading ramp and the product's natural weight bias. The delivery rate varies from moderate to high speed depending on part characteristics. Its solid urethane bowl lends itself to machining for product profiling and those unique part feeding applications making the FR-30 a truly versatile and tailor-made feeding base.

Item is in good physical condition and was just revoved from a manufacturing facility due to business closure. (a couple of the plastic gauge covers are missing, but gauges are functional.)

This feeder was constructed to operate with approximately 80 parts in the bowl. the parts level should be maintained with the use of the limit switch and storage hopper. If too many parts are introduced into this feeder, the parts will not travel properly up the ramp and the rate will suffer.
We operated the feeder at a power control setting of 45% maintaining an average rate of 53+ parts per minute. We used a conveyor setting of 65% and a hopper setting of 10%. Power settings vary with local line voltage and individual controls; therefore, some trial and error may be needed to determine the proper setting necessary to meet your requirements and insure the specified rate.
The air supply to the air manifold block should come from a filtered air regulator adjusted to 80 PSI. The air jets which are controlled by individual valves in the manifold block should perform the following functions:
#1 - Air Ramp to load parts onto tub. 38 PSI
#2 Blows off Parts which are not of right orientation. 54 PSI.
#3 Blows parts through discharge 34 PSI.
#4 Blows parts under the top confinement. 44 PSI.
Parts that are damaged, misformed, or out of tolerance will jam the bowl or cause a loss of rate.
