this is a hose nozzle from the wheeling and lake erie railroad fire department. i cant really date it, but grandpa worked for that railroad in the 30s, so i can assume its from that era. it has a stamp on it that says Powhatan B&T works, ranson w.va.and the # 250 . it apears to be solid brass with a chrome base. the gasket is still present. its not pictured but there is a standard difuser in the tip. its pretty heavy. this is a well used piece with a ton of charachter. a nice desk piece or shelf piece for a fireman. thanks for looking.
