We use this type of Bead Encapsulated Sensors, exclusively to replace the Bad Sensor portion of todays expensive Room Sensors, which include Temp Adjust, Unocc Override & Comm Bus Ports. All this without the need of replacing the whole Digital Board, Cover and Wall Plate from the wall. The BEST part is that they are usually dead on in Calibration. I have rarely had to put an offset in for the Sensor as read by my Certified Fluke 51 Temp Meter that I use for all my Temperature Calibrations.
