Lot of four (4) 1 & 5 micron polyester filter bags
For sale is a lot of 4 polyester felt filter bags. These are rated at 1 & 5 microns (nominal). You will receive two of each micron size. They have steel rings sewn into the top of the bag & have a glazed outer surface to reduce fiber contamination in the filtered solution. Bags are industry standard size 4 (4" diameter & 14" long) and can be used in most size 4 filter housings or free hanging from a pipe using a size 4 filter head adapter, which we sell, or attached with a fastener or clamp directly to the pipe. Please note that these bags do have a strap sewn across the opening of the bags to facilitate hanging from a pipe. Polyester is fairly good with a maximum heat of 180-200 degrees F but is generally not as chemical resistant as polypropylene. These are excellent bags for filtering water or waste vegetable oil (WVO) to make biodiesel.
