Since its market introduction in 1999, the ACUGAUGE 5-2-1 Backflow Certification Test Kit has been the reliable alternative to the Watts TK-9A , both of which are based on the same time proven principles for low differential pressure measurement. Both differential pressure gauges have similar specifications and mounting dimensions, however, the new ACUGAUGE 5-2-1 backflow preventer certification testing kit has been optimized at the critical 5-2-1 PSID pressure points in accordance with the standards set forth by both the AWWA and the USC.
The ACUGAUGE 5-2-1 Backflow Test Kit is a 3-valve kit specifically designed for field-testing the following in-line backflow preventer assemblies:
Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker (AVB)
Spill-resistant Pressure Vacuum Breaker (SPVB)
Differential Pressure Gauge optimized at the critical 5-2-1 PSID pressure points
Large 41 2" easy-to-read diameter face gauge with descending scale (0-15 PSID)
(1) needle valve on low pressure side of gauge
Adapters: (3) 1 4" threaded coupling adapters
Adapters: (3) 1 2" x 1 4" bushings
Adapters: (3) 3 4" x 1 4" bushings
Hoses: (3) 3' hoses with female-threaded swivel couplings
Performs same tests as a 5-valve kit but with less moving parts to fail!
