This is a CNMG 432-GR insert in grade NC225. It's a CVD coated insert that is good for high and medium speed cutting of steel, cast iron and ductile cast iron with excellent toughness and wear resistance simultaneously. The GR chip breaker is a negative chip breaker used in Stainless Steel and Mild Steel applications as well as in medium roughing of Steel.
