EC74/192MA Four Channel Time Control
The EC74/192MA Programmable Time Control is a microprocessor based multi-circuit control utilizing an easy to use keyboard. Pour load circuits can be independently programmed for 192 total events or up to 48 events per circuit. Each circuit has three individual programs consisting of 8 ONs and 8 OFFs or up to 15 momentary durations providing a 1 to 99 second momentary contact closure and a skip (no program) function. These three programs or skip function can be assigned to the days of the week and holiday. The control can be programmed for up to 32 holidays or 16 holiday durations, has been leap year corrected to the year 2100 A.D. and can be programmed for automatic daylight savings time changeover.
Lightweight and compact, the EC74/192MA can be wall mounted in a location convenient for programming and monitoring. Programming is simple with light emitting diode (LED) displays and a 20-position keyboard. Normal programming includes entry of time-of-day, day of week, and assigning events to individual circuits. Output connections are made on a labeled terminal strip and each load can be wired for a normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) relay contact closure.
This control is designed to control synchronous clocks, bell schedules, indoor and outdoor lighting, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, motors, pumps, fans and security systems in schools, churches, commercial, institutional and industrial facilities.
"Electronic" Astro Dial TM feature Circuit-1 can be programmed with the Astro Dial feature or remain as a regular circuit. This circuit can be programmed with sunrise and sunset times, northern or southern hemisphere, and latitude to automatically adjust to seasonal changes. The circuit is maintained in a de-energized mode during daylight hours. ON at sunset and OFF at sunrise or any variation of ON/OFFs between sunset and sunrise.
Manual Override Output relays can be energized or de-energized manually from the keyboard. The manual override remains in effect until the next programming event or a momentary output will be initiated, at which time the EC74 will go into its programmed operation.
There are two different EC74/192MA models available. When ordering new or replacement time controls, specify features and voltage. They are defined as follows:
EC74/192MA120/240 120/240Vac. 4 circuit programmable time control with 192 events, adjustable momentary contact, astro-dial. 7 day program with 365 day calendar.
(Section II) EC74/192M and 192MA Models
1. 192 Events (Operations) Available An event is a programmed time for energizing or de-energizing a load relay.
2. 48 Events Available Per Circuit There are 4 circuits at 48 events each or 192 total events available. Each circuit is independently programmable.
3. 16 Events Per Program Each day of the week can be assigned an A set of events, a b set of events, a C set of events or SKIP (no program). The A, b and C programs of each circuit can contain up to 8 ONs and 8 OFFs, or one duration, programmable from 1 to 99 seconds, with up to 15 momentary outputs.
4. 3 Momentary Durations Per Circuit Each circuit can be programmed with up to 3 momentary durations providing a 1 to 99 second momentary contact closure.
