Adapter set standard banana clip probes to simpson 467
This set of adapters will allow you to use any standard Banana Clip Probes with the Simpson deep recessed sockets on multimeters like the Simpson 467.
This set consists of two spring wound and plastic coated adapters that plug deep into the Simpson type sockets and have female sockets at both ends. The outer female socket accepts standard male Banana Clips and standard Banana Clip type probes. These adapters snap in and out quickly and may be useful to adapt any male banana jack to accept another male banana jack.
We tested these adapters on a dozen types of Banana Clip style probe sets. On one style, it was necessary to remove a small portion of the plastic outer sleeve from the adapter with a razor blade to allow that probes outer shield to accept the adapter. This takes less than a minute. No returns allowed after any modifications are made. One set includes two adapters, one each for the positive and negative multimeter sockets.
