Optoelectronic isolated USB to MPI Siemens S7-300/400 PLC Programming adapter cable. With 3 meters cable length. With communication indicators, can replace Siemens 6ES7 972-0CB20-0XA0. Automatically adjusts the communication speed from 19.2Kbps to 115.2Kbps for the PC port. Automatically adjusts the communication speed from 19.2Kbps to 187.5Kbps for the MPI interface.It doesn't support profibus function. Version 4 now used original Siemens MPI driver!
Simatic Step 7 software supplied with the cable, software is not official packaged version with paper license, but is fully working and Vista (Ultimate or Business) / XP pro compatible.
This cable uses USB drivers for MPI connection, there is no USB to RS232 conversion for connection!! This is a direct USB to MPI Adaptor which even uses original Siemens drivers!
This is Version 4.0, it features better quality components and automatic adjustment of baud rates on both sides, the price is a little higher because of these added features. Most suppliers do not offer this version, and will supply you with the cheaper inferior version 1.0.
