Clean Air 301 Laminar Fume Flow Bench Lab Workstation
This is a used Clean Air Products Series 301 Laminar Flow Bench. The bench is in good physical and good to fair cosmetic condition. There are scratches, scuffs and tape residue from normal use and storage. The bench is missing the top portion of plexiglass from the hood. The front edge of the table is missing some formica covering. All filters are intact. We tested the bench by plugging it into an electrical outlet. The flow fan came on. The florescent light came on. No other testing was done.
The Series 301 Laminar Flow Workstation is a general-purpose, horizontal flow clean bench ideally suited to many types of mechanical or processing work. It is designed to provide a clean air environment suitable for laboratory work, testing, manufacturing, inspection and/or pharmaceutical operations.
The clean HEPA-filtered air flows outward from the cabinet. This horizontal laminar flow air washes out particulates and prevents contamination from entering the clean work zone. The Laminar Flow Workstation features "clean edge" construction that puts the hood and table top in shear with the media edge of the HEPA filter. This reduces turbulence along the sides of the hood, improves the laminar flow, and prevents contamination infiltration around the perimeter of the hood.
