MK 101 10" Brick Tile Concrete Saw, Good for Lapidary
This is a MK 101 10" tile saw that can also be used for bricks, concrete pieces, rocks and lapidary work.
The saw is in decent condition, but admittedly is somewhat cosmetically challenged. It does work very well. The table slides freely and the motor is strong and not noisy. The 10" blade has a continuous rim and has had very little use; it probably has 95% of its life remaining. The water tray is water tight but has been coated and patched; the patches are permanent fixes.
The stand and water pump shown in the photos are included.
For lapidary work, this saw has several advantages. It is fast, you can cut a 3/8" thick slab amazingly quickly. Since it uses water, your rocks won't become oil soaked. It can be used as a carving tool; just hold your rock up to the blade and nibble away those projections or lumps you don't want.
This is a versatile, great saw for someone who is more concerned with function than appearance.
