Want to move trees? Want to ball and burlap trees for sale? Put this Vermeer 44" inch tree spade on your JCB, Deere, Case, Cat or other backhoe, loader or telescoping handler and dig, burlap or plant trees up to 20 feet tall and 5 in trunk diameter.
All the controls are right in the cab with you so you don't even have to get out of your seat to dig and transplant. And if you want to ball and burlap, just dig the tree, lift it up, put the basket and burlap in the hole. Lower down the tree and secure the burlap....DONE!
Put the tree seedling you bought for ten cents five years ago at the curb balled and burlapped and sell it for $150.00, or transplant it and sell it for $300.00........I did!
Right now this unit is set for JCB tool carrier spacing but it can easily be switched to fit your machine. I know, because when I bought it it was set for JCB and I put it on the Cat loader shown in the picture above.
The solenoids will work on either 12 or 24 volts DC and the hydraulics are Bob Cat flat face quick disconnects....easily (and inexpensively)changed to fit your machine if needed.
The unit is in good condition, needs paint and has one slightly bent spade where I transplanted trees for my wife's elementary school and lightly bent it. Easily fixed with a torch and 15 minutes.
Plant some each year and have a nice annual income...I know, I did!
Many good memories of both....did I tell you I sold 10 trees and sent my son to Japan to train with the Marshall Arts Master on the money? Total cost....$25 dollars in fuel.....Total profit...$1500. Total time spent....1.5 hours. Then I traded trees to my Vet and got thousands of dollars in vet care for my animals free. And more, but I digress...let's just say this equipment can pay for itself very quickly.
