V-TapGuide is manufactured in an ISO 9001:2000 certified facility out of a special
alloyed steel that is heat treated, ground, and CHROME plated for durability. Guide holes are sized for
ANSI Standard Ground Taps. Standard V-TapGuide can handle tap sizes 0-80 thru 5/8
(except tap sizes #12 and 9/16). Metric V-TapGuide can handle tap sizes 1.6mm thru 16mm.
Bottom surface is ground to assure stability and accurate perpendicular alignment on flat surfaces.
90 degree V-groove along the bottom of the V-TapGuide allows perpendicular alignment on round parts or corners.
* Portable, pocket size -You can take it to the parts you are working on. - Not like a table top hand tapper.
