Microbot teachmover robot w/control center curriculum

The Microbot TeachMover is a durable, affordable robotic arm used for the teaching of robotic fundamentals. Specifically designed to simulate industrial robot operations in the classroom or laboratory, over 5,000 TeachMovers are used in elementary and secondary schools, colleges, universities and industrial training programs.
The Teach Control makes programming the TeachMover as simple as operating a hand-held calculator but permits surprisingly sophisticated routines. Using the keys on the Teach Control, the user programs the arm to execute any series of movements; the finished program can then be edited and repeated. The TeachMover can also be operated in conjunction with most computers through their RS-232C ports.
The TeachMover's possible motions include base rotation, shoulder bend, elbow bend, wrist pitch and wrist roll, so it can simulate the motions of most industrial units in production situations.
The TeachMover is supplied with a built-in gripper so it can be put to use immediately without any special additions or modifications. Using parallel jaws, the gripper can sense whether or not it is holding an object and measure the size of that object within +or- 1/16".
The TeachMover robot has been in production for 22 years.
Over 5,000 robots are still in use today.
Our safety record is flawless.
The TeachMover robot and accessories are built in the USA and sold all over the world.
Teaching capabilities can be expanded by simply plugging in additional products.
The TeachMover is used widely in colleges and secondary schools. It is also used by Motorola, UAW Ford, and General Motors to teach the principles of automation.
