Exhausto fans are high quality draft enhancing fans that ensure proper and more efficient drafting of flues and prevent soot and smoke from escaping into your home or business. The housing is cast aluminum with components made from stainless steel assuring a long life for the product. The units are mounted on top of your chimney and have a variable speed switch that can be placed at your desired location. This knob can control the fan to be turned on and off when needed and is a variable switch that can enable you to control the size of your fire (ie...small romantic fire to a large roaring fire). The unit will be virtually maintenance free and will prevent animals, leaves, water, sticks and other debris from entering the flue. The unit will not have to be removed for the yearly cleaning of the flue where it is located.
*An electrician will be needed to run the wire to hook up the fan to a source of electricity to power this variable speed switch mechanism. Again, the fan comes equipt w/ a self explanitory manual that can walk you through the installation, step by step.
