There are two dark blue males over dark and light hens (blue and splash) some of the babies may be black laced following how the blue gene works. They make a great 4H project and mine are very calm and friendly birds. Some of my best broody hens and mothers too. They do tend to lay off and on all winter and are really good cold weather hardy birds. Having rose combs doesn't allow for their combs to get frost bit either.
