This used postal scale is in great condition and comes with the electrical connection. I tried it out comparing items weighed on it and my own scale and it works great (I tested it using the electrical connector - the unit also has a place to insert a 9 volt battery - I did not check it using battery power as I did not have a 9 volt battery handy).
The unit says: "Max 10lbs, d=0.1oz" and the scale platform will tilt up to help support and properly weigh large flat items.
