The RD Model (Nylon/Teflon) offers superior resistance to lubricants, power steering fluids, oils, fats (both animal and vegetable types), hydrocarbons, solvent-based paints, lacquers, detergents, gasoline, most aldehydes, esters and aromatics. Nylon is also resistant to ketones and most chlorinated aliphatics. Nylon will absorb slight amounts of water and dichlorides with no decrease in physical properties.
