The new RIDGID 1822-I features the CENTER-LOCK
Chuck which automatically grips and centers pipe or
bolt. A Two-speed transmission transfers a constant
45 RPM for pipe threading, and 16 RPM for bolt
threading or low voltage conditions. The 1822-I also
features a Self-Opening/Automatic Oiling Die Head,
single action No. 344 Reamer, easy aligned No. 364
Cutter, and a rack and pinion carriage with improved
Handwheel efficiency. A single phase induction motor
delivers 11/2 horsepower and quiet operation.
Lightweight non-metallic covers offer improved portability
which can be optimized with the addition of a No.
1406 Folding Wheel Stand. From standard pipe and
bolt threading to accessories for nipples, beveling, cut
grooving or No. 141 Geared Threader operation, the
RIDGID 1822-I combines productivity and versatility
for shop or field threading applications.
