As strikes are many times installed in metal frames with low voltage wiring run back to an access control panel, a vulnerable surge path is created. The ESS helps protects the sensitive circuitry of electric door strikes and solenoid lock releases, at the door. This kit is small enough to fit in a door jamb and protects entry systems where it's most needed.
