Silica Gel is a highly fine-pored white semi-transparent glasslike hard mass in the form of granules or spheres of various size.
Its chemical name is Silicon Dioxide . It is odorless, tasteless, and non-toxic.
It also offers an excellent capacity for physical and chemical dehumidification because of its good absorbability, chemical stability , wide surface area and high mechanical strength .
It can take up to 40% of its weight of the moisture and it may turn into semi-liquid gel after absorbing the moisture. In doing so, it prevents the moisture from entering the electronic components,paper,wood products,etc..

How do I tell the humidity is high or low?
Humidity Indicator Card can easily measure the humidity inside the sealed package to allow a quick and low cost inspection.
The blue indicator dot turns from blue to pink means humidity in the package has or had been the humidity of that value. Used along with our desiccant product( we have 2g,10g,100g,500g desiccant gels) it can prevent your equipment and product from moisture attack, especially for those precision equipments.
1.The humidity indicator dots will change from blue to pink as the humidity increases in the volume of air surrounding the indicator.
2. The humidity indicator dots are reversible, and the pink dots will change back to blue when the volume of air is dried.
3. Relative humidity is indicated at the lavender colour (between blue and pink).
