WHITING, Maine Police confirmed Monday that an East Machias man died Thursday or Friday from injuries he suffered while working in the woods.
Brian Butch Whitney, 63, of East Machias Maine was unable to control the bleeding after a chain saw he was using kicked back and cut his right leg twice, according to Maine State Police spokesman Stephen McCausland.
