This equipment is used for testing transmission terminal and link equipment. It measures error, jitter modulation and fading.
The Anritsu ME462B DS3 Transmission Analyzer consists of two sections, a Transmitter and a Receiver. Together they provide a host of measurements to keep DS3 transmission links working at their best. The ME462B transmitter generates output levels that fully comply with Bell System DS3 requirements and with it's built-in microprocessor the Receiver can detect and measure bit errors, parity errors and bipolar violations. With an optional RS-232 or GPIB Port the ME462B can be used for automatic measurement.

This instrument is specifically designed for testing and evaluating the performance of DS-3 transmission terminal and link equipment (1 MHz to 50 MHz).
The ME462B consists of the transmitter and receiver. Option 021 = GPIB and Option 11 = Built-in Printer
