Adjustable Centerline Boring Bar
This is special purpose/ custom constructed enormous boring bar by Kennametal. The base of the head is approximately 10" x 6-1/2". The arm is about 12' long. Weighs about 170 lb.
It was excessed by one of the local government installations and used for an "unknown" purpose .
I can't tell if the bar was ever used as there are only a few minor transporrt/storage scratches on it and its perfectly clean-no residue or chips anywhere on it.
This is the description as related by a senior kennametal engineer :
Kennametal Adjustable Centerline Boring Bar Units, "ACLBB".
Used for extremely accurate adjustment to put the boring bar heads on centerline for boring various ultra tight tolerance bores with extremely good finishes for prototype parts.
These tool blocks were designed for a Moore T based lathe but could be modified to fit most any CNC lathe. Unit originally sold for over $20,000.00 ea.
Do not sell these units to anyone outside of the US, especially North Korea, China, Iran, or other countries of this sort

This is an item that is has to go freight (by truck) or be picked up here locally in the Albuquerque area. I encourage local pickup and can load on to anything you've got. Weight is about 170 lb.
