This Varian Turbo-V 70D turbo pump and controller set is used, but in excellent working order. The set has been thoroughly inspected and tested by our technician and we are providing a 30 day warranty*.
The Turbo-V 70D pump is available in four versions. The difference between the versions lies purely in the high vacuum connection. This particular unit is a Model 969-9362 with ConFlat 4.5 external diameter high vacuum flange. (See more specs at the bottom of this listing.)
The controller is a Varian TV70 PCB board (9699518) housed in a custom (not Varian brand) enclosure along with a power supply, indicator lights, and connection points as shown. The pictured connecting cable for the pump and power cable for the controller are also included.
The Turbo-V70 PCB controller is a microprocessor controlled, solid-state, frequency converter with self-diagnosis and protection features. The controller drives the Turbo V-70 pump series by controlling the voltage and current with respect to the speed reached by pump. It incorporates all the facilities required for the operation of the Turbo-V70 pump series: pump start/stop, digital current and speed control, and analog signals for external indicators.
