This is another fine piece of PRECISION Electronic Test Equipment manufactured by LEADER ELECTRONICS. Leader has been in business for many years producing a wide variety of test equipment. They are still making equipment, however they shifted their focus to BROADCAST Video for use with TV & Radio Stations (Commercial) They still do support the Consumer electronics test equipment items (Oscilloscopes, power supplies, generators, etc).
This is an LCG-396, the top-of-the-line NTSC Generator of its time and still a very desirable piece by any repair center. They are invaluable for troubleshooting video circuitry. It is not to be confused with a simple Pattern Generator, the LCG-396 is much more versatile.
The Generator is in VERY GOOD Cosmetic condition and if I needed one, I would keep it for myself. The generator comes only as shown in the pictures, with the power cord. No other cables/connectors are included. I have included some pictures of the output of the generator, however it has many more functions that I cannot show. The Monitor is NOT included in the sale. Also, on 1 of the color pictures, it appears to have a color shift. It is a bar created when you take a picture of a screen and is not present when viewing a signal. This generator is working perfectly.
