Abb controlled field exciter YT221001LS yt-221-001-ls

Take a close look at pictures 3 and 4; you can see two modules bent. If those are bent, which others have been touched by something-I don't know. It would be no surprise if that top board needed to be replaced, But I suspect everything in the lower teirs are perfect.
That is a small transformer you see in the first picture that comes with the exciter-
I have bought a few ABB items recently from a liquidator, who got their hands on a fair size lot of new ABB equipment. This appears to be new, except that it hasn't been treated with tender loving care, it appears. I can't promise how this will perform, but my guess is that it's perfectly good, with the exception of that top board, which appears to be easy, if not cheap, to replace. And for all I know, the top board is functional too, but just seems unlikely. Judging by some prices I found on the internet for new, refurbished, and repair costs for this specific item, it seems my starting price is probably a pretty good price even if it needs repair.
