Vintage Lot of Map-Chart Making Tools used in Land Surveying
Nice collection of tools and 3 journals full of notes and drawings on surveying "jobs" in Minnesota in the 1960's. These were used by my Grandfather who was a surveyor. He got his license in 1957 from the University of Minnesota.
Included in this collection are:
1-Dietzgen "PowERaser". It still works!
1-Banner White-Clad large 100-foot steel tape-tape measure by the Lufkin Rule Co.-Not in the best condition but nice display piece!
1-Koh-I-Noor Rapidograph Kit in original felt-covered box. Bottles are all there but ink is dry. Nice display!
1-Combination Drop Bow Compass-in original box. Combination pen and pencil by the Morilla Company. Nice condition.
1-Wrico Scribe Set with many many needles-or nibs? and 20 or so Lettering Guides with all different types of lettering. In the original-NICE-wooden case.
And a number of other tools...more lettering guides, triangular rulers, triangles, papers...etc.
Plus I am including my grandfather's own work journals that include details of many different jobs he did in Minnesota and...He was licensed in 4 states...Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Indiana.
