This case is used, but is still in great shape. As you can see in the photo, the keypad membrane is intact with no holes. The screen window is clean with just some light scratches. The O-ring is intact and in good shape to provide a tight seal and keep the dirt and rain out. The data connection still works. I tested the connection and was able to transfer files between my computer and my HP48. The lip at the bottom of the case is chipped, but it doesn't affect the seal.
If you are looking at this item, you know that these are becoming impossible to find. I have been selling of my old HP48 survey inventory, and this is the last environmental case I have.
