These couplings have a sexless common head design that eliminates mismatched fitting and allows direct connection between any 2 fittings from 1/4 to 1".
Just push and give a quarter turn to connect and disconnect. The safety clip included assures that the coupling will not come apart, and guarantees that fittings are properly connected.
