It looks like brass but, it's Steel. I've had this a while. I sold my loader - backhoe and don't need the fitting I had for a few years. The fittings were in my barn and I cleaned them up it had some rust, I wire brushed them up. There is NO damage to the threads or seating surface. I was told these were heavy duty the marks on them are PM6D, 3/4",R1,NO-SKIVE. These have not been used ! I have 3 of these Female Fittings....
