This is a quality American made unit. Comes mounted on a circuit board with a filter and adjustable trim pot. Output voltage can be adjusted from 50% to 110%. I used it to drive electric vehicle instruments at 13V. Easy to adjust with a trim pot. Rated for 100 watts input and 75 watts output.
The picture shows the unit unmounted so you can see the actual converter. Yours will come mounted to the circuit board. It's soldered by the 8 pins out from the converter. If you want to separate the units you have to desolder the 8 pins.
