Boker has taken a different approach to the rescue knife. Rather than integrating the seatbelt cutter into the handle, they incorporate it into the back of the blade, where it can still be used without opening the knife, The rounded tip gives more security where it's needed most. The serrated 440C stainless steel blade cuts through rope effortlessly, and has superior edge retention.
The lockback blade release is easier to use while wearing gloves than the more common liner lock.
The aluminum handle has finger groves lined with a sand texture for superior retention. Lanyard hole in the pommel. Reversible pocket clip carries tip-up.
The pommel includes a hardened window-breaker point, which is removable. The knife comes with a replacement pommel-point that is supposed to simulate a pen cap, apparently for discrete carry. It's a hokey accessory, but doesn't detract from the quality of the knife.
