This listing, in CANADIAN dollars, is for one getting hard-to-find original ICL8038CCPD synth/ function generator chip. It replaces the NTE864 and XR8038 without modification.
Mouser sells the NTE864 for US $51.32 each, which is a pretty big price jump over the past year or so. These ICL branded versions usually sell elsewhere in the mid 20's. If you use the NTE864 for repairs this would be a good time to stock up on these ones.
