I have approximately 25 of these valves. They have a 7/8" od sweat connection.
For a system to deliver peak performance, it must have optimum and automatic refrigerant control. Sporlan's electronic suction control valves, the CDS-9, CDS-16, and the new CDS-17, respond to signals in an electronic controller and sensor and then regulate the proper temperature in the evaporator.
Standard 12-volt DC step motors regulate the valves. Waterproof, reliable, and trouble-free, these valves can replace mechanical EPR valves, suction stop solenoid valves, and conventional thermostats.
The CDS-9 can be a drop-in replacement for CDS-8 valves commonly found in refrigerated cases. In most applications, the CDS-16 and CDS-17 valves can control multiple evaporators.
