This is our top of the range Hygro-Thermometer (Psychrometer) which offers a professional quality instrument with high accuracy and ease of use. Like all of our test equipment it is CE certified and brand new.
This unit offers all the features of a high quality instrument, but in addition also offers absolute humidity and mixing ration as well as the usual dry and wet bulb, relative humidity and dew point. The sensor is a high quality offering fast response time, data hold, Max and Min measurements and auto power off. This meter will also display the moisture content of the air (enthalpy) in grams per cubic meter.
There is a huge backlit dual LCD display to make reading results simple, and the whole unit is sturdy and easy to use.
We are currently using this particular unit for HVAC and refrigeration applications and undertaking efficiency tests on heating and cooling systems. By measuring the correct psychrometrics, it is very easy to calculate kW of cooling and heating, so makes measuring energy efficiency a very easy task. As well as these applications, any humidity controlled environment can benefit from this instrument, such as computer and data rooms, food and meat storage, medical environments, laboratories, photography studios etc.
