Spears Hot-Tap Saddles allow connection to an existing pipeline under pressure. Simply bolt the saddle onto the existing pipeline and connect the branch piping. The brass cutter is screwed through the pipe wall (the special design captures the dics from the hole.), then withdraw allowing a unrestricted flow through the branch.
