Sheet Metal Shear Roll Type Lathe Accesory HowTo PLANS
This self feeding, roll-type, metal shear is designed as a lathe accessory. It will cut light sheet matal without distorting or curling the material. It also cuts cardboard, thin sheet plastic, even heavy paper and some laminates. It's been dimensioned to fit a 9" metal lathe and consists of two cutting rolls, one driven roll, and one idler, a specially machined base for mounting on the lathe cross slide, finger guards and an adjustable guide and a stop.
