Metcal Replacement Soldering/Rework Handpiece for MX-500DS-11 MX-RM3E

Combines a 50W power supply with two switchable outputs and two separate handpieces: a soldering handpiece and a pistol-grip desoldering handpiece. The soldering handpiece allows you to do both SMT and through-hole rework. The MX-500DS converts shop air into a powerful Venturi vacuum to clean through-holes quickly and efficiently using the desoldering handpiece. Paper solder collection liners within the barrel of the desoldering handpiece are easy to maintain and are an improvement upon traditional glass tubes. Like all Metcal systems, the MX-500DS features interchangeable tip cartridges that utilize SmartHeat technology and a compact power supply with automatic power shut-off (after 30 minutes of non-use) that maximizes tip cartridge life. The MX-500DS system is ESD-safe and meets Mil-Specs. It operates on 100/120VAC and includes a two-port switchable power supply with power cord, soldering/rework handpiece (without tip cartridge), desoldering handpiece (without tip cartridge), (2) workstands with sponges, (2) cartridge removal pads, air hose with fitting, cleaning brushes, and chamber liner and filter pack.
