Monolux vintage microscope in wood box w/many extras
For your consideration is a Vintage Monolux Microscope in the Original Locking Wood Box with Key! The wood box measures about 6.5" wide x 8.25" deep and stands about 13.25" tall. The handle fully extended adds another 2". The box is marked on a plaque on the front "Monolux Microscope"...see picture.
Inside, we have the microscope marked "Mutoscope No. 31785" on the front lens tube. There is also the number "6014" on the back top of the brace just behind the focusing wheels. there are two (2) small wooden compartments that slide out on the top side of the box. these "drawers" contain three (3) lenses each...the compartment on the left has a 5X, 10X and 15X lens...the compartment on the right...5-0.10, 10-0.25 and 50-0.85. All six lenses read "Monolux Coated", There is also a box labeled "Corning Glass" with some blank slides. A very heavy and substantial microscope and case set weighing about 12 POUNDS!
