The metal is some kind of silver color, maybe pewter or nickel, but we are not sure (still too shiny we think to be pewter...). The metal is wrapped around all exterior wood parts and is simply beautiful. This would make a great display for any any antique shop showing jewlery or maybe pocket watches or maybe a boutique for other smalls.
Condition: There is a crack in the glass in the front left plate as shown in the photos, a very easy fix when it is in its new home, or simply put a piece of tape over it if you are so inclined.
