This instrument is based on patented, non-thermistor technology, which doesn't require you to calibrate for fluctuating room and/or sensing housing temperatures. The no. TIF 9450D registers vacuum readings from a few microns up to 760,000 microns (1 atmosphere, 760mm HG or O psig) and is not affected by the specific contents of the gas being evacuated.
