- It provides constant pressure .
- It stops the pump during water shortage (dry run protection) .
- It removes the water hammer's effect.
- Pump control SKD-5A consists of a hydraulic component/part and an electric replaceable part, which is also deliverable as spare part.
The hydraulic component/part consists of:
- a valve which adapts to variation in flow rate.
- a compression-moulded and reinforced plastic body .
- a membrane and spring adaptable to pressure change.
- a safety valve to avoid water leakage in the event of membrane damage.
The electric part consists of :
- a water-proof housing( IP65 ) made of self-extinguishing compression-moulded plastic.
- a single electronic card, tested and checked, with insulating conducting paths.
- a relay with a switching capacity of ca. 100.000 cycles during continuous operation with maximum charge of 1,1 KW.
- a varistor against voltage peaks.
