Stepper, stepping, step motor driver 3.0A nyden PLG240

NYDEN compact PLG240, user-programmable Smart Driver-and-Controller in one.
This integrated controller and bipolar driver includes Commander Software which can be used to write and edit motion control program and then download it to PLG240.
No programming experience necessary!
The programming of the PLG240 might be the easiest task in your project.
All instructions and parameters are spelled out in plain English with detailed description.
Single click on any instruction from the Command List inserts that instruction into the program. All commands are automatically formatted and checked for syntax error or out-of-range. Next, you may modify parameters if necessary.
There are 11 instructions and 32 customized motion parameters allowing to write almost any motion control program.
The PLG240 features additional 3 inputs for sensors, switches or external signals and 2 outputs for controlling external devices. There is also an additional input dedicated solely for Emergency Stop.
A small motion control system can be built around PLG240 with just a few external devices.
The PLG240 communicates with PC is via RS232. The 6 ft cable is included . You may use any COM port or if your computer doesn t feature RS232 you may use USB-to-RS232 converter (not supplied). Small slide-switch on board allows change from Run to Program mode. Once in Program mode, the PLG240 will ignore all I/O pins and disable the motor. Programs can be Downloaded and Uploaded with a single click of the mouse. You can check what is currently stored in memory of the controller and decode it to evaluate or compare with program on the screen.
On board switching power supply allows single voltage supply for both logic and motor. Since the PLG240 is a constant current driver, you may use any power supply with voltage between 12V to 50V DC, regardless of motor used.
The phase current of the motor may be adjusted by rotating trim-pot. All terminals are pluggable for easy assembly, modification and troubleshooting. Plugs are included.
The PLG240 is suitable for all 4-, 6- and 8-wire motors with phase current minimum of 1A and maximum of 3A.
- All 4-wire motors allow only one connection method, which is bipolar. If your motor is 4-wire type then it has to be labeled between 1A and 3A
- All 6-wire motors can be connected as unipolar or bipolar-series. If you use unipolar connection, then the motor must be labeled between 1A and 3A. If you use bipolar-series connection, then the motor must be labeled between 1.4A and 4.2A
- All 8-wire motors can be connected as unipolar, bipolar-series or bipolar-parallel. For first two options the same rule applies as for 6-wire motors. The third option allows to connect motor labeled between 0.7A and 2.1A. The third option is not recommended for most applications due to excessive heat dissipated in the motor while windings are paralleled.

Build your next project around PLG240 and impress your boss or teacher! Nobody has to know how LITTLE time, learning and effort you spent programming it.
1. Insert Label Insert a label to command list, for software instruction only.
Label information will not be downloaded to PLG240 memory.
2. Wait... Wait until inputs matches the mask before continue execution.
3. If. Then Goto If input matches mask, then jump to label location, else
continue on the next instruction.
5. Delay Delay before continue execution.
7. C. Vel. Move Constant velocity movement. Stop when input matches
8. Index Move Indexed movement. Aborted when input matches the input mask.
9. Loop Begin Initialize one of the four loop control registers.
10. Loop End End of loop instruction.
11. Set Current Set the motor current to Run, Idle, Off.
