12JB6 driver and 8950 to 6LB6 conversion kit:
This is a conversion kit for the 8950 tubes in the amplifier and a replacement set of the existing 12JB6 driver tube.
Included are driver tubes, 12JB6 (1) and final tubes, 6LB6 (2) + an 8950 to 6LB6 conversion kit (with schematics and instructions). Instructions are included for rewiring the 8950 sockets from 12 volt filaments in parallel to 6 volt filaments in series. The 6LB6 is a direct replacement for the very expensive 8950 tube with the only difference being the 6 volt filament verses the 12 volt 8950 filament.
